strangely enough, while driving in a straight line, i had to keep the wheel slightly to the right. hmm, right the store did not align the wheel properly.

screw it, cant be bothered as people were waiting behind me.

tried 2 laps on the full circuit and it was a blast!

one guy even came up beside me and asked if i was the promoter :D told him no just a regular guy and he enquired (all this while i was still driving) how much the setup costs.

i pointed to the price of the wheel which was just beside him "the price is there!" geez! ..........

Happened to be at Funan and someone from next door (Applestore) to my gameshop was saying out loud "What's that big thing they're delivering??"

Turned around and caught a glimpse of something black shiny and had the word "DJ"

Hmm..walked straight in and whatdaya know..Renegade has just landed!

Shame on the distributor for not delivering these babies and the gameshop had to make a couple of rounds to and fro Changi!! Boo!

Shame on Activision for not providing carrying handles for the box and I had to lug the whole damn box back to the office! (well, technically it was to the taxi stand and then up to the office)

Anyways, am still at work so have not had a chance other then to take some pics of the box

..a spring that had fallen off Rubens Barrichello's Brawn GP car flew up and struck Massa in the helmet while travelling at around 175mph during qualifying on Saturday.

The spring in question is around five inches long, coiled metal and quite heavy.

An apparently dazed Massa continued straight through a curb, across the track and through the gravel area alongside the circuit before slamming into the tire barrier at high speed (estimated 65mph).

The impact of the rear suspension part damaged the left side of Massa's helmet, ripping out the visor and leaving a long dent on its side. Blood was seen above Massa's left eye, which was not damaged.

"Following a complete medical examination it emerged that he had suffered a cut on his forehead, a bone damage of his skull and a brain concussion," Ferrari said in a statement.

For starters, the whiz kids over at Subaru Tecnica International have reprogrammed the ECU and fitted smoother ball bearings for the turbocharger to boost output to 304 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. They've also retuned the suspension, reinforced the chassis, recalibrated the power steering's lubrication, fitted new rims on Bridgestone Potena RE070 rubber and reduced the curb weight with lighter body panels, windows, battery and tire kit.

other then windows mail parental controls (don't recall choosing this option whilst installin live messenger) and endpoint *being* not compatible (maybes?) with win7, all the rest are GOOD TO GO

In short, the TrackIR device allows a player to use his head and body movements to control in-game actions. ArmA2 uses 4 of the total 6 degrees of freedom - these are zooming, leaning, and, most importantly, looking around (pitch and yaw). The TIR5 has taken all of this to a new level of precision, and when combined with their (excellent) new software package, it becomes an even more new-user-accessible piece of gear.

Microsoft are nearing the phase of finalizing the RTM build of the latest and the greatest.

excerpt below:

According to wzor, build 7200 has been reserved for RTM. So, there could be various compiles of 7200 before one of them gets officially signed off. From 15-19 June, we take a timeout for the publication of any information on the numbers of actual assemblies!

Before the 24th of June nobody will be able to tell with certainty which one of these 7200 builds is the rtm.

translation: multiple final builds are being compiled this week Jun 15th-19th and one build will be deemed RTM and crowned build 7200

but we get video recording now on the iPhone (3GS only)

they sure took their time but i think it was worth the wait.

not to sound like a broken record but they took something again that was practically available on most mobile phones and simplify the entire process.

good only ofcourse if you do need to trim your video. i dare say lots more people will start using this feature, if only to get to the section of what the whole video was being recorded (do you seriously need to wait 2mins to get the action?) and more importantly save space (AND TIME) when uploading to an email or youtube

Bottom line is the Jawbone PRIME packs some great technology into a great package. The device is light, background noise is all but completely eliminated when in use, and the acoustic voice activity detector works brilliantly in delivering clear and crisp audio to the device on the other end.

You really can't go wrong with the Jawbone PRIME. Ever since the original Jawbone from Aliph. The Jawbone 2 was another great jump forward, setting the bar for Bluetooth headsets, and now, the Jawbone PRIME has done the same. first impressions:

- suretype takes a bit getting used to coming from an iPhone user but once you get the hang of it, i really appreciate being able to highlight THEN select instead of making sure when i choose my selection, it better be correct

- web browsing, viewing attachments and getting my news apps (and FB) are way more intuitive and plain simply easier on the iPhone

- IM's like Yahoo and Live Messenger on BB (whether Bold or Storm) still beats out anything current on the iPhone as (to take a line from Apple) it just works!

It had to happen sooner or later, Apple has released new MacBooks making the MacBook more appealing. The newest member of the Apple portable family comes in three flavors: white 1.83 GHz and 2.0 GHz, and black 2.0 GHz. All three sport the Core 2 Duo Intel processor which Apple claims gives these suckers up to a 25% boost over the previous MacBooks. The top of the line model also features a gig of RAM standard (though in two DIMMs), a double layer SuperDrive, and 4MB shared L2 cache (as opposed to 2MB in the other models). And yes, the glossy screen is still the only screen option on these bad boys.

"It can be pretty difficult to make the key decision between Mac and Windows. But... Macs are the best choice for many users, probably you included," Paul Vaughn writes for The San Antonio Express-News.

Vaughn writes, "All Macs come with a variety of software that will help you create movies and music without buying additional programs. Apple's iLife suite is a nicely integrated package that includes iMovie, iDVD and GarageBand, among others. The combination of these lets you import your digital video, edit it, add titles, music and transitions, and then burn your movie to a DVD that can be played in any home DVD player. Movies created with iMovie have been featured at international film festivals like Cannes and Sundance — it's that good. With GarageBand you can create your own electronic music, create podcasts, record live music and plenty more."

"The same folks who made the computer and its operating system make all of this software, so everything works smoothly together and you get a fantastic user experience. There are also third-party applications available, but you get these tools pre-installed on any Mac as part of the price of admission," Vaughn writes. "If you later want to move up to more professional software, Apple offers Final Cut Express and Final Cut Studio for more professional video work and Logic Pro for music. Many people working in the television and music industries use these applications."

Vaughn writes, "But while making movies and music, don't forget about your schoolwork. Microsoft Office is available for the Mac, and there are other alternatives as well. There are many scientific applications that work great on the Mac. If you need a specific application, check with the developer and see if there is a Mac version. If not, there may be an equivalent by another developer or you can run the Windows version on a Mac with programs like Parallels Desktop for Mac (http://www.parallels.com), Crossover (http://www.codeweavers.com) or another such application."

"HP or Compaq (they are the same company now) will sell you a computer built by them, with a Microsoft operating system and some other third-party software that might be able to do some of the things you want. The software that comes with these systems is often there because the developer has paid the PC manufacturer to include it," Vaughn writes.

"The Mac is an easy out-of-the-box solution and you will be productive on the MacBook within 10 minutes. Windows Vista sounds like it will be a nice upgrade, but you will have to choose from five versions," Vaughn writes. "Every Mac comes with the full version of Mac OS X and iLife '06; nothing is cut out for the less expensive systems. The version of Mac OS X is the same on a $500 Mac Mini as it is on a $2,500 Mac Pro. The only other version is Mac OS X Server, which is designed for servers and not average users. A Mac has all the features you want from Vista, but has them right now."

Vaughn writes, "I recommend that you go over to the nearest Apple Store or Mac retailer and have the sales people demonstrate some of the software that comes with a Mac. I know you will be impressed."

Hold down the shift key and click the yellow button in your window top bar.

What is the slow-genie good for? I’m not sure, if not just to show off. But if you want to do so, then you may better opt for an Expose show.

Open a few windows, hold down the shift key and activate Expose, usually by pressing F9 on your keyboard. Your windows are being tiled in a slow-motion and it looks so cool.

But I bet you didn’t know about this one!

Expose has a built-in keyboard window switcher. Try this; open a few windows, activate Expose and then repeatedly hit the tab key. Watch your windows switching like the cards in a deck. Once you have the window you want to use, just hit enter and the window is all yours.

For those finding a similar thing in Windows Vista, I hate to say - this has been part of OS X since 10.3 (Panther) release in October 2003, when Vista was still called Longshot Longhorn.
